7.5.0 Fix Pack 9 release
The following updates are available in Version 7.5.0 Fix Pack 9 and 1Q2025 APARs.
IBM MQ Monitoring Agent
- SET SMF agent parameter
- The SET SMF agent parameter statement is now available for use in the
KMQ$CUSR embed during configuration to allow changing default settings
for MQ SMF Type 115 records captured by the agent. You can set the
maximum number of records to be captured in ECSA and/or the sub-types to
be captured. If not provided, the agent defaults to the following,
consistent with previous functionality:
SET SMF MAXREC(600) SUBTYPE(ALL)
- New options in the KOBSMQ workspace
- Two new options are added in the KOBSMQ (KMQSTRTI) workspace to provide
a fast path to get to details about queues and channels in the selected
queue manager. The following are the new options that are added:
- Q: Queues in Queue Manager
- R: Channels in Queue Manager
- Renewed Java certificate
- Renewed Java certificate is available in the v750 Fix Pack 9 (7.5.0-TIV-KMQ-FP0009) level of IBM® MQ monitoring application support.
- Quality improvements
- Miscellaneous quality improvements have been made in the IBM MQ Monitoring Agent.

IBM Integration Bus Monitoring Agent
- Support for IPV6 communication
- Support for IPV6 communication is available related to monitoring App Connect Enterprise on zCX, which is the only part of OMEGAMON for Messaging requiring additional IPV6 support outside of ITM framework changes.
- Renewed Java certificate
- Renewed Java certificate is available in the v750 Fix Pack 9 (7.5.0-TIV-KQI-FP0009) level of IBM Integration Bus monitoring application support.
- Quality improvements
- Miscellaneous quality improvements have been made in the IBM Integration Bus Monitoring Agent.
