z/OS Connect API Provider Summary All Requests

This workspace shows a summary of all Provider APIs called during the current summary period.

The summary period in effect is shown in the footer of the workspace.

Note: You can change the summary reporting period with an action dialog invoked by right-clicking on the request summary row and selecting the "z/OS Connect Request Filter" menu item. The resulting dialog allows you to specify a custom time range for the summary report. You can choose between the last n minutes; the last n hours, or a specified range of date and time. The selected range persists across the other z/OS Connect API reports. For example, a detail report of a specific API will cover the same date and time that the summary report covers. The date and time range in force is shown in the footer of the workspace. The date and time range applies to the bar chart views as well as the table view.
The following subpanels are displayed in this workspace:

Response Time Statistics (Bar Chart)

This bar chart view shows the minimum, maximum and average total response time for all APIs executed during the summary period. The total response time includes the time spent in z/OS Connect plus the time spent in the system of record (SoR).

z/OS Connect Statistics (Bar Chart)

This bar chart view shows the minimum, maximum and average time spent in z/OS Connect by all APIs that executed during the summary period. This value is the time the API processing spends in z/OS Connect before the SoR is called plus the time spent in z/OS Connect after a response is received from the SoR.

SoR Time Statistics (Bar Chart)

This bar chart view shows the minimum, maximum and average time spent in all systems of record by the APIs executed during the summary period.

z/OS Connect API Provider Summary - All Requests

This table view shows summary statistics for all APIs executed during the summary interval. It includes the number of requests executed, the number of API calls that ended in error, and the number that timed out. The error column includes APIs that timed out.
