The HTTP:listening_port
keyword on KDE_TRANSPORT
directs the HTTP clients and servers to use the listening port rather
than the default 1920 port.
Procedure
To effect the change between the Tivoli Enterprise Monitoring Server and Tivoli Enterprise Portal Server, the KFWENV
and CMWENV members (for the Tivoli Enterprise Portal Server) and KDSENV
(for the Tivoli Enterprise Monitoring Server)
must include
KDE_TRANSPORT=HTTP:listening_port IP.PIPE PORT:1918
- Edit the KDE_TRANSPORT variable to point to the port you
want to use. Change the listening port as shown in the following example:
KDE_TRANSPORT=HTTP:30338 IP.PIPE EPHEMERAL:Y IP USE:N SNA PORT:135
- Change the environment variable for both the Tivoli Enterprise Monitoring Server and Tivoli Enterprise Portal Server.
No
files require modification. Use the Manage Tivoli Monitoring
Services menu on the Tivoli Enterprise Portal Server to change
the environment variables.
- Either restart the system or restart the Tivoli Enterprise Portal Server and Tivoli Enterprise Monitoring Server.
