About this task
You configure the OMEGAMON for IMS Classic components to specify parameter values that are used by the OMEGAMON® for IMS (3270) Realtime Monitor component.
If you do not intend to use the interface for OMEGAMON
for IMS (3270), accept the default values in the KI2 section of
the configuration profile. If you do intend to use the interface for OMEGAMON for IMS (3270), you can
optionally specify customized values for the following components:
- Security

However, if you intend to configure logon security, you must indicate in the configuration profile which security authorization facility (SAF) you intend to use. See Identifying security system for your runtime environment.
