Implementing external security on OMEGAMON for IMS Classic

You can use the following procedure to implement external security on OMEGAMON for IMS Classic.

Procedure

Complete the following configuration tasks:

Assemble and link edit the routine. Security exit routines
Modify and update the security table to specify the commands that RACF or ACF2 must check, and the name of the module that contains the exit routine. A default for the module name is not provided. Updating the security table
Important: Passphrase support for the OMEGAMON 3270 Classic interface requires APAR OA57133 (PTF UA98944) and APAR OA57125 (PTF UA98947). When passphrase support is enabled, OMEGAMON implements the OMEGAMON 3270 Classic interface external security without the use of security exits.
