Configuring the OMEGAMON enhanced 3270 user interface
You can specify the initial workspace that displays when
you log on to the OMEGAMON® enhanced
3270 user interface by configuring the FIRSTWS
parameter
value in your interface profile member in the RKOBPROF data set of
the enhanced 3270 user interface address space.
About this task
The following are the types of interface profiles in the RKOBPROF data set of the enhanced 3270 user interface address space:
- User profile – the member name matches the user ID that is used to log on to the interface
- Site-defined profile – the member name is CUASITE
- IBM-provided profile – member name is KOBCUA
The OMEGAMON enhanced 3270 user interface searches the
data sets in the RKOBPROF DD statement for a user profile and then searches for a site profile, that
is, member CUASITE. If neither is found, the IBM-provided profile is used, that is, member KOBCUA.
The FIRSTWS
value in the selected profile determines the first workspace that
displays for OMEGAMON for IMS on z/OS®.
