Cross-product links to OMEGAMON monitoring agents

The cross-product links tables that follow display the source and target workspaces, and the attributes that you can use to locate the target workspace, and to filter data in the target workspace.

In the following cross-product links tables, the column, Source, indicates the workspace name that is part of the OMEGAMON® for IMS on z/OS® system that the link is originating from. The workspace name is typically found in the navigation tree within the Tivoli® Enterprise Portal Server. The column, Target, indicates the workspace name that is part of another OMEGAMON product and is the location where the link goes to. This workspace is also typically visible on the navigation tree. The column, Attribute used to locate target workspace, identifies one or more attribute names in the source table that can be used to identify the target workspace. Target nodes can be identified by managed system name, host name, IP address, or SMFID. As the OMEGAMON products are monitoring multiple systems and subsystems, it is important to identify which of the instances of a monitoring agent is to be targeted. In many cases, when you arrive at a target workspace, you want to see only the data that is correlated to the source workspace. The column, Attributes used to filter data in target workspace, identifies the attributes that are passed as filters from the source to the target to limit the display to show only related information.
