Adding command level security

Before you start OMEGAMON for IMS Classic, you might want to add password security to several sensitive commands.

Before you begin

Review the security information in Reference: OMEGAMON security decisions.

Procedure

  1. Update rhilev.RKANSAMU(KOISUPDI) with your site requirements.
  2. Use the sample KOISUPD job in rhilev.RKANSAMU to create a KOISUPD security update job.
  3. In the KOISUPD job that you create, use the KOISUPDI source that you updated in rhilev.RKANSAMU as input.
  4. Submit the KOISUPD security update job that you created.
