Removed features

IBM® OMEGAMON® for IMS on z/OS® 5.5.0 extends capabilities that are found in previous versions of OMEGAMON for IMS on z/OS. Some features of previous versions are deprecated and removed in OMEGAMON for IMS on z/OS 5.5.0.

The following features from previous releases are removed in OMEGAMON for IMS on z/OS 5.5.0:

IBM OMEGAMON (CUA)	IBM OMEGAMON (CUA) interfaces are no longer supported, so the relevant messages, PARMGEN parameters, and commands are removed.	Use the new feature of IMS Commander, which is implemented within the OMEGAMON enhanced 3270 user interface.
IMS Console Facility (I/CF)	IMS Console Facility (I/CF) is no longer supported, so the relevant messages, PARMGEN parameters, and commands are removed.	Use the new feature of IMS Commander, which is implemented within the OMEGAMON enhanced 3270 user interface.
XE Collector configuration	Individual settings as a configuration choice for the XE collectors are removed to simplify configuration workload and increase Time to Value (TTV). Instead, unless otherwise specified in PARMGEN, IMS Connect AUTODISCOVER is set to YES by default.	Use the supported PARMGEN basic and advanced set of configuration parameters.
The IMS™ Command Batch Message Processing interface (known as the BMP interface)	The BMP interface that is designed to supplement the Write-to-Operator with Reply (WTOR) interface is no longer supported, so the relevant topics and messages are removed.	Use the ICMD feature in the KIPCMD workspace from the OMEGAMON enhanced 3270 user interface.
IMS V10.1 and V11.1 support	IMS V10.1 and V11.1 support are removed since 5.5.0.	OMEGAMON for IMS on z/OS 5.5.0 can operate with IMS V12.1, V13.1, V14.1, V15.1 and higher.
