Starting OMEGAMON for IMS Classic in TSO mode

You can use the OMEGAMON for IMS Classic menu system to start OMEGAMON for IMS Classic in TSO mode, or you can press F12 to access the command interface

Procedure

  1. Follow the procedure for starting the OMEGAMON for IMS Classic in VTAM® mode until you are ready to log on to VTAM.
  2. Issue the VTAM command: 
    VARY NET,ACT,ID=tnode

    where tnode is the major node name you used to define your virtual terminals to VTAM.

  3. Log on to TSO.
  4. At the TSO READY prompt, issue the command. 
    %KOI

    The system displays the OMEGAMON for IMS Classic copyright.

  5. Press Enter to display the Main menu.
