A monitored system is displayed in the wrong place
In an environment with multiple hub Tivoli® Enterprise Monitoring Servers, when the server and monitoring agents are shut down and then restarted, the monitoring agents might forward data to the wrong hub Tivoli Enterprise Monitoring Server.
The data does not display where you expect, either the Tivoli Enterprise Portal or the OMEGAMON® enhanced 3270 user interface, yet the RKLVLOG output indicates that the monitoring agent is running.
If you see this situation, ensure that the runtime environment in which the monitoring agent is running is configured correctly. Check the sequence of protocols that the monitoring agent uses to connect to the server and ensure that the correct values are provided for each protocol.
