Errors occur during TMS:Engine initialization

You might experience errors during TMS:Engine initialization if you rename members in &rhilev.&sys.RKANMOD or &rhilev.&sys.RKANMODL. The error can occur when you are provided with a temporary solution or workaround that requires you to replace a module in the RKANMODL DD concatenation.

About this task

The specific error that displays depends on which member you replace. For example, a workaround might suggest that you replace a module to avoid a problem, but the problem symptoms persist. This example applies for any product that is started with EXEC PGM=KLV.

Procedure

Do not rename members in &rhilev.&sys.RKANMOD or &rhilev.&sys.RKANMODL. Especially do not rename those members that are suffixed by STARTUP in KLVST026 messages. Put the replacement modules in an APF-authorized library that is concatenated ahead of &rhilev.&sys.RKANMOD and &rhilev.&sys.RKANMODL in the RKANMODL DD of the STC or save an archive of the library before you replace the module.
