Exiting OMEGAMON for IMS
You can exit an OMEGAMON for IMS Classic session in the OMEGAMON for IMS Classic address space, the OMEGAMON for IMS Classic interface, and the OMEGAMON® Subsystem.

Stop the OMEGAMON for IMS Classic VTAM® applications |
where M0imsid is the mprefix that is concatenated to the IMSID specified in the OMEGAMON for IMS Classic startup proc, and cccccccc is the literal for VTAM. The OMEGAMON for IMS Classic VTAM interface stops. It is no longer possible to log on OMEGAMON through VTAM. The virtual terminal interface remains active after all the OMEGAMON for IMS Classic sessions end. |

where stepname is the name of the started procedure. The OMEGAMON for IMS Classic interface stops. Normally, you use KOIEPROC with EPILOG. Use
KOIXPROC without EPILOG.
Note: You can also
issue commands to end IMS.
When the interface detects that IMS is ended, the interface shuts down any OMEGAMON for IMS Classic sessions that are still active, and the OMEGAMON for IMS Classic address space ends. The OMEGAMON for IMS Classic interface remains active after all OMEGAMON for IMS Classic sessions end. |
Stop the OMEGAMON Subsystem | You must not stop the OMEGAMON Subsystem unless you are certain that no other product uses it. The OMEGAMON Subsystem is designed to start and stop
during the Initial Program Load (IPL) process. Multiple IBM® monitors on the same z/OS® image can use
the OMEGAMON Subsystem. Note:
