Pool Utilization attributes

Use the Pool Utilization attributes to view buffer pool definitions and utilization information.

Available Fast Path Buffers Indicates the number of fast path buffers available for system use.

Average Search Length Indicates the average number of synonyms searched in a call.

Buffer Size Indicates the size of a buffer.

Buffers In Use Indicates the number of buffers in use.

Current Storage Used Indicates the current storage used for the subject IMS storage pool, represented in bytes.

Dynamic FREs Indicates the number of dynamic fetch request elements.

Dynamic SAPS Allocated Indicates the number of allocated dynamic save area prefixes.

Dynamic SAPS Used Indicates the number dynamic save area prefixes that are in use.

Fast Path Buffers Indicates the total number of fast path buffers.

Fixed FREs Allocated Indicates the number of allocated fixed fetch request elements.

Fixed FREs In Use Indicates the number of fixed fetch request elements that are in use.

Free Blocks Indicates the current count of free blocks for the subject IMS pool.

Free Space Indicates the current free space for the subject IMS pool in bytes.

HWM Buffers In Use Indicates the highest number of buffers ever in use.

HWM Storage Indicates the highest amount of storage that was ever in use.

HWM Utilization Indicates the highest buffer utilization.

IMS ID Indicates the IMS Subsystem identifier.

Largest Free Block Indicates the largest free blocks for the subject IMS pool in bytes.

Line In Indicates the number of active line in buffers.

Line Out Indicates the number of active line out buffers.

LMSG Queue Indicates the size of the long message queue portion of the message queue buffer pool.

LMSG Queue Percentage Indicates the percentage of storage used for the long message queue buffer.

Maximum Search Indicates the maximum number of synonyms searched in a call.

Message Ident This identifier ties a group of messages to a specific table.

MFBP Dynamic Area Indicates the amount of storage in the MFBP dynamic area.

MFS Directory Storage Indicates the amount of MFS directory storage.

MFS FRE Storage Indicates the amount of MFS FRE storage.

MFS Storage Below Line Indicates the amount of MFS storage below the 16 MB line.

Number Of Buffers Indicates the number of buffers.

Originating System Identifier Fully identifies the originating IMS subsystem.

Overflow Size Indicates the overflow size in bytes.

Pool Group Indicates the group of the subject IMS storage pool. Valid values include Communications, Database, and Program.

Pool Increment Indicates the amount of storage to increase the pool size by.

Pool Name Indicates the name of the subject IMS storage pool.

Pool Size Indicates the size of the subject IMS storage pool in bytes.

Pool Size The size of the subject IMS storage pool in bytes.

Pool Type Indicates the type of the subject IMS storage pool. Valid values include CIOP, CWAP, CESS, DBOS, DBVS, DBWP, DMPL, HIOP, EPCB, WKAP, MFBP, FREP, SAPP, PSPL, PSBW, QBUF, PIEP, QBLK, SMSG, LMSG, QBLB, SMSB, LMSB, RECA, EMHB, SPAP, LUMC, LUMP, SBUF, FPDB, SPAL, FPWP, AIOP, DLMP, PSBP, DLDP, DPSB, DMBP, and UNKNOWN.

Privileged SAPs Indicates the number of privileged save area prefixes.

QBLK Buffer Indicates the size of the queue block portion of the message queue buffer pool.

QBLK Buffer Percentage Indicates the percentage of storage used for the queue block buffer.

Regions Waiting For Buffers Indicates the number of regions waiting for buffers.

Resident Active Indicates the amount of active resident storage.

Resident Active Percentage Indicates the percentage of resident storage that is active.

Resident Percentage Indicates the percentage of the total of resident and non-resident storage that is resident storage.

Resident Storage Indicates the amount of resident storage.

SMSG Queue Indicates the size of the short message queue portion of the message queue buffer pool.

SMSG Queue Percentage Indicates the percentage of storage used for the short message queue buffer.

Timestamp The date and time when the monitoring agent retrieved the data.

Total MFS Storage Indicates the total amount of MFS storage.

Upper Expansion Limit Indicates the limit of how much storage can be allocated for the pool.

Utilization Percentage Indicates the current utilization for the subject IMS pool.
