Logical Terminals attributes

Use the Logical Terminals attributes to view status information on logical terminals.

Average Transaction Length Average transaction output length. Valid format is an integer.

Connected LTERM Indicates whether the terminal is connected to an IMS (YES) or not (NO).

IMS ID The IMS Subsystem identifier. Valid format is a text string of up to 4 alphanumeric characters, for example, IMSA.

Line Identifier The line identifier for the logical terminal. Valid format is an integer.

LTerm Name The name of the subject IMS logical terminal. Valid format is a text string of up to 8 alphanumeric characters.

Message Ident This identifier ties a group of messages to a specific table. Valid format is a text string of up to 4 alphanumeric characters.

Messages Dequeued Indicates the number of messages processed. Valid format is an integer.

Messages Enqueued Indicates the number of messages currently queued. Valid format is an integer.

MVS ID The MVS System Management Facility (SMF) identifier. Valid format is a text string of up to 4 alphanumeric characters.

Node Name The name of the VTAM node for this logical terminal. Valid format is a text string of up to 8 alphanumeric characters.

Originating System Identifier Fully identifies the originating IMS subsystem. Valid format is a text string of up to 32 alphanumeric characters, for example, I91A:SP22:IMS.

Output Queue Length Current message output queue length for this logical terminal. Valid format is an integer.

Physical Terminal The physical terminal identifier. Valid format is an integer.

Physically Connected Indicates whether a terminal is connected to the IMS system. Valid values include Yes and No.

Signon Identifier The sign-on identifier for the logical terminal. Valid format is a text string of up to 8 alphanumeric characters.

Status Indicates the current status of the logical terminals. Valid values include Started, Stopped, PStopped, Purged, and Locked.

Stopped LTERM Indicates whether the terminal is stopped (YES) or not stopped (NO).

Terminal Category Indicates the category of the logical terminal. Valid values include Static and Dynamic.

Terminal Sub Type Subtype of logical terminal. Valid values include Video, Printer, and Other.

Terminal Type Indicates the configured terminal type. Valid values include Other, SLU-1, SLU-2, 2740-1, 1050, 2740-2, 2780, 328x, 2741-P2P, 2741-NSC, Local-SYS, LU-4, 2740-1S, TWX-S, 2741-S, 3741-S, SLU-P, 3270-R, 3270-L, 3270-V, and 3270-S.

Timestamp The date and time when the monitoring agent retrieved the data.

Transaction Name The name of the last transaction run on the terminal. Valid format is a text string of up to 8 alphanumeric characters.

Unusable LTERM Indicates whether the terminal is unusable (YES) or usable (NO).

Usable Indicates whether the terminal is in a state where it can be used. Set to No when the Status column has any value other than started.

Virtual Terminal BMC Virtual terminal indicator. Valid values include Yes and No.
