DASD Logging attributes

Use the DASD Logging attributes to view Online Logging and Write Ahead Dataset status.

Auto Archive The status of Auto Archive activity. Valid values include Active and Inactive.

IMS ID The IMS Subsystem identifier. Valid format is a text string of up to 4 alphanumeric characters, for example, IMSA.

Logger Status The Logging status. Valid values include Active and Inactive.

Message Ident The identifier that ties a group of messages to a specific table. Valid format is a text string of up to 4 alphanumeric characters.

OLDS Active The number of OLDS data sets currently active; if dual logging is in effect, displays the number of OLDS sets that are active. Valid format is an integer.

OLDS Block Reads The number of OLDS block reads. Valid format is an integer.

OLDS Block Read Rate The number of OLDS block reads per second. Valid format is an integer.

OLDS Block Write Rate The number of OLDS block writes per second. Valid format is an integer.

OLDS Buffer Wait Rate The number of OLDS buffer waits per second. Valid format is an integer.

OLDS Buffer Waits The number of OLDS buffer waits. Valid format is an integer.

OLDS Checkwrites The number of checkwrite requests. Valid format is an integer.

OLDS Checkwrites Rate The number of checkwrite requests per second. Valid format is an integer.

OLDS Defined The number of OLDS defined; if dual logging is in effect, displays the number of OLDS sets defined. Valid format is an integer.

OLDS Inactive The number of OLDS data sets that are inactive; if dual logging is in effect, displays the number of OLDS sets that are inactive. Valid format is an integer.

OLDS Mode Indicates whether the OLDS Logging is in single or dual mode.

OLDS Stopped The number of OLDS stopped which includes deallocated; if dual logging is in effect, displays the number of OLDS sets stopped. Valid format is an integer.

OLDS with I/O Errors The number of OLDS with I/O errors; if dual logging is in effect, displays the number of OLDS sets with I/O errors. Valid format is an integer.

OLDS Writes The number of OLDS block writes. Valid format is an integer.

Originating System Identifier Fully identifies the originating IMS subsystem. Valid format is a text string of up to 32 alphanumeric characters, for example, I91A:SP22:IMS.

Timestamp The date and time when the monitoring agent retrieved the data.

WADS Checkwrites The number of WADS EXCPVRs (Execute Channel Program in Real Storage). Valid format is an integer.

WADS Checkwrites Rate The checkwrite request rate to the WADS. Checkwrite refers to a request to the WADS (write-ahead data set) to determine whether a particular piece of data has been written. Valid format is an integer.

WADS Mode Indicates whether WADS Logging is in single or dual mode.

WADS Sets Defined The number of WADS sets defined. Valid format is an integer.

WADS Spare The number of spare WADS left. Valid format is an integer.

Write Ahead Status Indicates the write-ahead (WADS) status. Valid values include Active and Inactive.
