A new linear data set is formatted so it can be used by the Near Term History collector.

By default, OMEGAMON AI for Db2 uses seven VSAM data sets to store Near-Term History (NTH) information. If your installation uses more than this default number of data sets, then you should customize and run the JCL in TKO2SAMP member KO2INCAP to format all of these data sets before they are accessed by the OMEGAMON® Collector. Formatting these data sets in advance avoids a long wait or a timeout when the OMEGAMON Collector is started and NTH collection is initiated.
