New and changed functions

This topic summarizes the recent enhancements and changes to the OMEGAMON AI for Db2 documentation.

Renamed components

IBM OMEGAMON for Db2 Performance Expert on z/OS is now IBM Z® OMEGAMON® AI for Db2. Beginning with OMEGAMON AI for Db2 6.1.0, the OMEGAMON for Db2 components listed in Table 1 are renamed.

Simplify your configuration by using new parameters that are available in OMEGAMON AI for Db2 6.1.0. New Near-Term History parameters are added to simplify data set allocation and configuration: KD2_PFxx_HIS_SEQ_DSNAME KD2_PFxx_HIS_SEQ_GDG_LIM New Performance Warehouse (PWH) parameters are added to simplify configuration: KD2_DB_PWH_DEFAULT_STG KD2_DB_PWH_DEFAULT_BP4K KD2_DB_PWH_DEFAULT_BP32K A new Classic UI parameter, KD2_CLASSIC_STC is added and can be used as an alternative to GBL_DB2_KD2_CLASSIC_STC for specifying the name of the OMEGAMON Db2 Collector started task.
