Enabling IBM Z OMEGAMON AI for Db2 Java Client support
If you want to use IBM Z OMEGAMON AI for Db2 Java Client, you must enable the host data collector started task to listen on a specific TCP/IP port.
The IBM Z OMEGAMON AI for Db2 Java Client is a user interface that supports online monitoring and reporting, Performance Warehouse management, and buffer pool analysis on the workstation.
To enable IBM Z OMEGAMON AI for Db2 Java Client to communicate with the data collector, set parameter KD2_OMPE_PE_SUPPORT to Y.

- KD2_OMPE_TCPIP_ADDRESS
- KD2_OMPE_MAX_SESSIONS
After you have enabled IBM Z OMEGAMON AI for Db2 Java Client support, you must complete
the following tasks:
- Specify a separate port for each Db2® subsystem if the IBM Z OMEGAMON AI for Db2 Java Client is enabled, otherwise there will be errors in the log. See Specifying IBM Z OMEGAMON AI for Db2 Java Client port information.
- Ensure that the OMEGAMON® Collector is configured to use TCP/IP services. See Setting up TCP/IP services for detailed information.
