Viewing aliases and bookmarked workspaces using menu options

You can bookmark some workspaces in the OMEGAMON® enhanced 3270 user interface (E3270UI) by using menu options.

Before you begin

To view user-defined aliases and bookmarks, you must have previously bookmarked the workspaces.

About this task

Using the bookmarking workspaces feature, you can quickly navigate to frequently used workspaces and save those bookmarks for subsequent logons. You can view your previously bookmarked workspaces or you can view them along with the predefined bookmarks by using the menu options in the E3270UI.

Procedure

  1. Click View and select Alias Commands/Bookmarks. The E3270UI displays a list of all predefined and user defined aliases and bookmarks.
  2. To view only the user-defined bookmarks, click View and select User Bookmarks.
