Bookmarking workspaces using commands
You can bookmark some workspaces in the OMEGAMON® enhanced 3270 user interface by using commands.
About this task
Procedure
- In the E3270UI, go to the workspace that you want to bookmark. For example, All Active DB2 Subsystems.

To bookmark the workspace, complete the following steps:
- In the command line, type BOOK.
- In Alias Name, type the alias name for the bookmark.
- Click Save.
- To confirm the profile name for which you want to save the bookmark, press Enter.

To replace the alias name for a bookmark, complete the following steps:
- In the command line, type BOOK.
- In Alias Name, replace the alias name for the bookmark.
- In Replace existing, type Y.
- Click Save.
- To confirm the profile name for which you want to replace the alias name of the bookmark, press Enter.
- To view the bookmarked workspaces, go to the View menu and select User Bookmarks or type V.U in the command area.

To remove a bookmark, complete the following steps:
- In the command line, type UNBOOK.
- Select the bookmark that you want to remove.
- To delete the bookmark, click Save.
- To confirm the profile name for which you want to save the bookmark, press Enter.
