The Record Trace File Data Set and Output Records
The record trace file data set is a sequential data set of formatted records suitable for loading into the performance database using the Db2® load utility and from which reports can be produced using a reporting facility such as IBM® Query Management Facility (QMF).
The output of the FILE subcommand is a sequential variable blocked data set. The content of the output data set is determined by the FILE command options you specify, and by the input SMF/GTF records processed.
This data set contains SQL statement records and RID pool records.
