IBM Db2 SQL Performance Analyzer

IBM® Db2 SQL Performance Analyzer provides information about resource usage and costs associated with SQL queries without you having to run them in Db2®. Such analysis helps you tune your queries to achieve maximum performance and cost optimization.

IBM Db2 SQL Performance Analyzer enables you to determine the cost of running a query under the attach facilities of IMS™, CICS®, and batch, as well as TSO, SPUFI, and QMF™. The cost estimate is given in familiar units (such as CPU time, I/O count, and elapsed time), as QUNITS (a single number representing the overall cost), and as a monetary cost. The results provided by IBM Db2 SQL Performance Analyzer include SQL Enhanced Explain reports, SQL Query Limits reports, and SQL Trace information.
