Stopping the OMEGAMON Collector

You can stop the OMEGAMON® Collector using the MVS modify command with the OMEGAMON Collector DPDC STOP command. To stop collection permanently for an entire Db2 subsystem, remove the command from the KxxSTART member in RKANCMD. The OMEGAMON Collector can be disabled temporarily without recycling the Tivoli Enterprise Monitoring Server to facilitate problem or overhead determination.

The following command format applies:

F stcname,DPDC STOP DB2(db2ssid)

Specification of the following variables is required:

stcname

The OMEGAMON Agent started task.

db2ssid

The Db2 subsystem ID on which to stop collection.
