Collect MustGather information for support

When you encounter a problem with the IBM® Open Enterprise Foundation for z/OS®, it is important to gather as much information as possible in order to help IBM Support diagnose and resolve the issue quickly. This information is known as "MustGather" data.

The following is a list of information that should be included when you file a bug report or contact IBM Support for assistance:

  1. The version and hardware level of your z/OS system. You can run the command uname -a to get this information.
  2. The specific tool or library that is experiencing incorrect behavior. For example, git --version.
  3. The output from running iden /path/to/tool.
  4. A description of the problem, including any incorrect behavior or output that you have observed.
  5. Instructions on how to re-create the errant behavior.
