Hybrid cloud environments

Combine complementary on-premises and cloud systems to create a flexible allocation of systems for higher levels of availability, performance, and security.

A hybrid cloud environment brings together compatible cloud and on-premises versions of Operational Decision Manager. Components in the on-premises version can reside onsite or in a private cloud.

In a typical hybrid scenario, an on-premises Rule Execution Server is the target server of a cloud Decision Center.

You can also create a decision service project in an on-premises Rule Designer, and publish or deploy it to a cloud portal, where it can be further developed and tested in Operational Decision Manager components. Then, you can download and redeploy the executable assets (RuleApp and XOM) to an instance of Rule Execution Server that is on premises or in a private cloud. You can redeploy the asset through a REST API or the Rule Execution Server console.
