You work on Miniloan Service, a decision service that a fictitious loan company uses to determine whether borrowers are eligible for loans. When you run the decision service, it produces measurable information. You create a simulation that gathers this information as key performance indicators (KPIs), and displays the KPIs in a report.

The tutorial does not cover collaborative development in the decision governance framework. You work in a branch of a decision service, and not in release activities.

You do this tutorial either on your computer in a sample server, or online in an instance of the Business console. If you do this tutorial online, contact your system administrator if you cannot find the Miniloan Service decision service in the Business console.If you run the tutorial locally, begin by starting the sample server: Opening Decision Center on the sample server.
