Deploying decision services from Rule Designer

You can deploy a decision service from Rule Designer to Rule Execution Server for production or nonproduction.

Before you begin

Make sure you have set up deployment configurations as described in Deployment configurations.

Procedure

  1. In Rule Designer, right-click your decision service.
  2. Click Rule Execution Server > Deploy.
    Tip: If the project contains errors, you can still attempt to continue the deployment by choosing to ignore them. If the errors are not blocking the generation, the RuleApp is deployed. This approach should be used with caution.
  3. In the RuleApp Deployment dialog, click the deployment configuration, and then click Next.
  4. Verify the deployment configuration settings, and then click Next.
  5. Verify your authentication credentials and click Next.
  6. Verify the RuleApp and ruleset versions, and then click Finish.

    When the RuleApp is deployed, a deployment report is displayed in Rule Designer.
