Task 5: Inspecting the performance of the decision service

You inspect the performance of the hosted transparent decision service.

About this task

The Rule Execution Server console monitors the available instances of the hosted transparent decision service by receiving statistics on a run ruleset path.

Procedure

  1. Click the Explorer tab in the Rule Execution Server console.
  2. Expand the Transparent Decision Service Information section.

    The View is displayed.

  3. Click Refresh.
  4. Click the HTDS/PreTradeChecksRuleApp/1.0/PreTradeChecks/1.0 decision service in the Transparent Decision Service Information table.

    The Transparent Decision Service view provides a full description of the transparent decision service, including name, ruleset path, status, properties, and the instances.

    When an instance of the transparent decision service is run, a statistics link is shown in the instances table.

  5. Click the Statistics tab to see ruleset execution statistics. Expand localhost xuHTDS to see metrics that include the execution count, time and dates.
