Selecting editing options for action rules

You can choose a predefined editing profile or define a custom profile that best suits your preferences for editing action rules.

You can choose a profile and its settings to create and edit action rules.

Procedure

To select your preferences for editing action rules:

  1. On the Window menu, click Preferences. (On Mac, click Eclipse  > Preferences.)
  2. In the Preferences dialog, click Rule Designer  > Action Rule Editing.
  3. Select a user profile:
    • Developer: Selected by default, this option automatically enables some preferences, which you can deselect.
    • Custom: This option lets you enable the settings of your choice.
  4. Select your editing preferences:
    • Enable Content Assist template mode
    • Enable Content Assist on SPACE key
    • Enable auto-restart Content Assist
    • Enable Content Assist on double-click
    • Enable Quick Fix
    • Parsing delay (set to 250 by default)
    • Enable semantic highlighting
    • Filter unreachable phrases
  5. Click Apply, and then click OK.
