Decision Center security in synchronization
Decision Center has a project security and permissions mechanism that must be taken into account for synchronization.
Any user can synchronize a project to Decision Center. The administrator controls access to synchronization by using the setting Allow all users to publish a new decision service.
After the initial publication of a rule project to Decision Center,
you can enforce security on the project and add specific permissions
to view, create, update, and delete different types of rule artifacts.
All synchronization operations are subject to this security and permissions
mechanism. Connect as an administrator to avoid potential issues.
Otherwise, you must take into account the following points:
If you do not have View permissions on certain project elements in Decision Center, Rule Designer does not retrieve these elements.
You get an error message in Rule Designer if you try to publish changes on project elements for which you do not have Edit permissions in Decision Center.
