Setting up the file ruleset execution sample

You use the Samples Console to install the sample.

To install the sample:

1. Open to the Samples Console (see Running samples from the the Samples Console).
2. In the Samples and Tutorials tab, expand Rule Execution Server > Samples.
3. Under File ruleset execution, click Import projects. Rule Explorer displays the imported sample project files:
   • The sample execution code: j2serulesession
   • The decision service projects: Loan Validation Base, Loan Validation Check, Loan Validation Determination, Loan Validation Scoring and Loan Validation Service
   • The decision service XOM : loan-validation-xom
4. Generate the RuleApp:
   1. In the Rule Explorer, double-click Loan Validation Service/deployment/test deployment to open the deployment configuration.
   2. In the Deployment, Overview editor, click Proceed to RuleApp deployment.
   3. In the Deployment summary, click Workspace to change the path where the deployed resources are generated.
   4. In the Folder selection, navigate to j2serulession/data, and click OK.
   5. In the Deployment summary, click Finish and wait for the Deployment report.
      
   6. Open j2serulession/data to see the generated files. The generated RuleApp is test_deployment.jar.
