Selecting a display mode
Rule Designer supports different display modes: classic, dark and light.
You can set the display theme to match your preference. There are three modes available:
- Classic: Shows the traditional display.
- Dark: Provides a dark background and light letters.
- Light: Provides a light background and dark letters.
Installation instructions by operating system
You choose your mode through the settings. The menus vary depending on the operating system.
- Windows
- Follow these instructions to change the theme mode:
- Open Rule Designer.
- In the tool bar, click .
- Select Enable theming. Usually, it is already selected.
- In the Theme drop-down menu, select one of the modes: Classic, Dark or Light.
- Click Apply and Close. You are asked to restart Rule Designer for the theme to take full effect.
- Click Restart. When Rule Designer restarts, it uses the mode in all its windows.
- MacOS
- Follow these instructions to change the theme mode:
- Open Rule Designer.
- In the tool bar, click .
- Select Enable theming. Usually, it is already selected.
- In the Theme drop-down menu, select one of the modes: Classic, Dark or Light.
