Installing components on multiple workstations

You can install your components to another workstation or a network of workstations, notably for production purposes, by using Installation Manager in silent mode. With the silent mode, you can record your installation choices in a response file so that you can use them with other workstations.

Silent installations require you to record your installation choices in a response file, and then use the response file to install Operational Decision Manager. You can record a new response file in Installation Manager, or you can complete the response file templates (odm_silent.xml and CIS_silent.xml) in <InstallDir>/doc/silent.
