This sample demonstrates how to build a web application by using Decision Center web components.

Prerequisites

You must have Decision Center installed to use this sample.

Check that the sample server is started before using this sample (see Starting and stopping the sample server).

Description

This sample shows how to build a web application by using Decision Center web components to display and edit action rules and decision tables. The sample also shows how to manage permissions on a project. The web application opens a connection with Decision Center to get data from its database.

You display and edit the rules and decision tables in the user web application by using the following web components:

  • Rule editor with Intellirule

  • Decision table editor

This sample contains a configuration file that describes the new user roles and permissions required for the sample.

The sample includes the following tasks:

  • Getting Decision Center data

  • Managing Decision Center security access

  • Managing action rules and decision tables: edit, create, and delete
