Samples for Operational Decision Manager

Operational Decision Manager provides an environment for you to work on your skills in developing decision services.

The environment contains projects for developers and business users:

• Samples: Aimed at developers, the samples demonstrate key features. Use the included code samples to learn how to use and extend the APIs.
• Tutorials: For both developers and business users, the tutorials provide step-by-step instructions on developing and deploying business rules.

You run the samples and tutorials through the following services:

Samples Console

An Eclipse perspective that you use to import sample projects, compile and run code, and carry out tutorials with the provided instructions.

sample server

A WebSphere® Liberty server instance that uses the H2 database. It contains preconfigured versions of the Rule Execution Server console, and the Decision Center web applications. They include populated databases and predefined users.

Note: H2 database is for development only, and not for production purposes.
