Redeploy a testing and simulation archive.

About this task

You can use this procedure to redeploy the default testing and simulation archive (ssp.ear) or any subsequent deployment of a repackaged archive. After you tested the feature by using the default ssp.ear file, you can update the artifact with your specific configuration and XOM.

You can use customizable installation scripts to perform this task. For more information, see Automated configuration of Rule Execution Server on WebSphere® Application Server for z/OS®.

The following procedure shows how to redeploy the testing and simulation archive by using the WebSphere Application Server administrative console.

Procedure

  1. Open the Integrated Solutions Console.
  2. In the side panel, open Applications and click Websphere Enterprise Applications.
  3. Select the deployed testing and simulation application in the side panel and click Uninstall.
  4. Click OK to confirm uninstallation of the testing and simulation application.
  5. Click Save to save the changes directly to the master configuration.
  6. To deploy the new testing and simulation archive, follow the procedure in Deploying the default testing and simulation archive.
