Publishing classic rule projects to Decision Center
For business users and developers to collaborate on rule projects, you must publish the projects from Rule Designer to Decision Center.
About this task
You publish a rule project from Rule Designer to Decision Center, and then synchronize with the project in subsequent connections. Publishing and synchronizing is done one branch at a time. You should be familiar with section Branches and releases in synchronization to avoid misuse.
For publishing to work, you must run Rule Designer in the same persistence locale as Decision Center
You must have administrator rights to publish to Decision Center. If you connect without administrator rights, you get an error message in Rule Designer when you try to publish changes to project elements.
Procedure
Results
If an error occurs during publishing to Decision Center, the Problems view displays a message, but the publishing completes. Publishing to Decision Center only copies the information. It does not notify Decision Center users of the changes.
