Creating rule tasks

You create a task in defining a node in the ruleflow.

To create a rule task:

1. Add the rule task to the ruleflow diagram in one of the following ways:

   • Select the node before or after where you want to add a rule task, and then click Add Node After > Rule Task or Add Node Before > Rule Task. A transition is automatically created between the node that you selected and the new rule task.

   • In the Ruleflow Editor Toolbox, click Rule Task and drag the new rule task to the diagram. Drop the rule task on a transition to connect it to existing nodes.

2. Name the rule task in one of the following ways:

   • Select the rule task, and then in the Selection Properties pane, type a name in the Task Name property field.

   • Click the arrow icon on the top corner of the rule task box, and type a name in the Task Name field.
