You can verify that you have successfully configured Rule Execution Server by
opening the console and running the diagnostics tool.
Procedure
- Start the WebSphere® Liberty profile
server from <WLP_HOME>/bin.
For example, server start odm.
- Access the Rule Execution Server console
by typing res with the root URL on the host machine:
For example, http://localhost:9080/res
- Sign in to the Rule Execution Server console.
If this is the first time you sign in and you did not create the database schema when you
created the database, follow the Wizard to create the schema (see
Creating a
schema for the Rule Execution Server database). The log for the
Rule Execution Server console is written to
<WLP_HOME>/usr/servers/<SERVER_NAME>/res-console.log.
- Click the Diagnostics tab.
A
report shows all the diagnostic tests that have been run.
Results
The Rule Execution Server console
does not detect the XU or the XU MBean until they are fully initialized
and registered to JNDI. Therefore, the diagnostics show Local
XU connectivity and XU MBean connectivity in
a warning state until after the first use of the XU.
