Decision Center

To use Decision Center on any instance of an application server other than the sample server, you must deploy and configure the provided archives. For example, see Configuring Operational Decision Manager on WebSphere® Application Server.

Overview: Decision Center: With Decision Center, business users can author, model, and manage decisions that are directly based on organizational knowledge and best practices, with limited or no dependence on the IT department. Decision Center includes collaborative web consoles, called the Business console and Enterprise console, and a rule repository.
Tutorials: You learn the fundamentals for using Decision Center to create, author, manage, and deploy decision services.
Storing and synchronizing rules: You can store and maintain rules in two different repositories, a Source Control System (SCC) and a database. Therefore, you must synchronize the two rules repositories periodically to bring them at the same level.
(Deprecated) Modeling decision services in Decision Center: Generally, the development team creates the decision model on which rules are authored. This section describes an alternative approach in which both the model and the authoring are done directly in Decision Center.

You can configure webhooks to receive notifications from Decision Center to external applications.
