Business Process Modeler (BPM) Insight Pack

Overview

The Business Process Modeler (BPM) Insight Pack provides the capability to index and search BPM logs files using IBM Operations Analytics – Log Analysis. Use it to search and index SystemOut.log log files to assist in locating different issues and problem determination.

You can use the following charts to monitor BPM error data from multiple Java virtual machines.

  • Infinite loop suspected: Displays the number of detected and suspected infinite loops.
  • Error trend: Display the number of errors that occur.
  • Hung threads: Displays the number of hung threads that occur.
  • Out of memory exceptions: Displays the number of out of memory exceptions that occur.

After you install the IBM Business Process Manager Insight Pack dashboard, you can add more log sources or change the default time filter to ensure that the dashboard displays the relevant information for your deployment.

Additional information

The IBM BPM Insight Pack supports logs from the following:

  • IBM Business Process Manager 7.5, 7.5.1, 8.0, 8.0.1, 8.5, 8.5.5, and 8.5.

Before you can install this Insight Pack, you need to install the
WebSphere® Application Server Insight Pack.
