• SMBR 6.1 adds Microsoft support for:
  • Support for Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 SP1/Hosting and Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 SP2 Address Book Policies
  • Windows 8
  • Windows Server 2012
  • Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 (up to SP2)
  • Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 (up to SP3)
• SMBR 6.1 includes the following new and modified features:
  1. Organizational Forms Export ( ability to export Organizational forms contained within Public Folder EDB files as OFT files)
  2. Multi-tenancy Support ( support for Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 SP1, SP2/Hosting and Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 SP2 Address Book Policies)
  3. Centralized Settings (ability for Single Mailbox Recovery clients to set security preference settings from Single Mailbox Recovery Administrative Server and prevent local user from changing security preferences)
  4. Mailbox Criteria
• SMBR does not support other Exchange Server installation configurations.
• Refer to the Release Notes for additional information on the new features and fixed issues.
• Installing or upgrading SMBR, its ExtractWizards, and the Administrative Server requires a number of preparations and considerations. Refer to the User Guides for SMBR, its ExtractWizard, and the Administrative Server for details.

NEWS

• SMBR works with your existing SnapManager® for Microsoft Exchange backup architecture and procedures.

The Single Mailbox Recovery software is obtained either from the physical media kits received on order or from software packages available for download using the "Software Packages ...." link from the Download task of the N series support website. Refer to the important information for N series support for step-by-step instructions explaining how to access software packages as part of the complete instructions for entitlement and registration. When following the step-by-step instructions, select the Single Mailbox Recovery software package from the N series and related Host Software Downloads - Pick page. Download the files for the version of the Single Mailbox Recovery and hardware platform required and install them using the installation instructions found in the User Guide.
