Managing two-factor authentication

IBM® NS1 Connect® supports two-factor authentication (2FA) using time-based one-time (TOTP) passwords for secure login to your account.

As an administrator, you can force all users in your organization to use 2FA and, if users lose their key, you can reset their account so that they can use 2FA again. As an individual account user, you can enable 2FA for your user account even though your organization's account is not set to enforce 2FA.

Once 2FA is enabled, either at the organization level or at the user level, each time the user logs in with their username and password, NS1 Connect prompts the user to enter a 2FA code that is generated by an authenticator app.
