Deleting a notifier list

When you no longer need a group of stakeholders or systems to receive alerts, you can delete the notifier list that contains their information and notification channels.

Before you begin

Make sure that your user or team permissions are set to manage notifier lists.

Warning: Deleting a notifier list used by a monitoring job prevents the monitoring job from automatically updating the corresponding answer metadata. This could break your automatic failover configurations associated with the monitoring job.

Procedure

  1. Click Alerts.
  2. Click the Notifier lists tab.
  3. Click the Delete icon of the notifier list that you want to delete.
    To locate a notifier list, you can use the Search feature. You can also click the Open filters icon to narrow the list by notifier, by the date the notifier list was created, or by who created the notifier list.
  4. Click Delete.
