Enforce two-factor authentication for all users

You can add an extra layer of protection to your IBM® NS1 Connect® organization's account by enforcing two-factor authentication (2FA).

Before you begin

Make sure the following are completed:
  • Your user permissions are set to Manage global 2fa.
  • Users are aware that a time-based one-time (TOTP) authentication app, such as Google Authenticator, is required to log in and that they have access to a device that has a TOTP authentication app installed.

Procedure

  1. Click the User Settings icon and select Security settings.
  2. In the Account login tab, toggle the Enforce two-factor authentication for all users switch to the on position.

What to do next

On their next login, each user must set up 2FA using a TOTP authentication app.
