Filtering alerts

You can filter the list of alerts based on severity, enrichment, and grouping.

About this task

Filter the alerts based on one or more of the following factors:
  • Severity: the severity of the alert.
  • Enrichment: has the alert been enriched with seasonality, topology, or runbook data?
  • Grouping: is the alert within a temporal, topological, or scope-based group?

Procedure

  1. In the toolbar before the table, click Filter Filter icon.
  2. Apply any of the following filters:
    Severity
    Click one or more severity levels to filter on.
    Enrichment
    Click one or more of the following:
    • Seasonal enrichment icon Seasonal
    • Topological group icon Topological
    • Runbook enrichment icon Runbook
    Grouping
    Click one or more of the following:
    • Scope-based group icon Scope-based
    • Temporal group icon Temporal
    • Topological group icon Topological
  3. Click Apply Filters.
    The table now displays only those alert rows that meet the criteria specified.

What to do next

To remove the filter criteria and to display all alerts again in the table, proceed as follows:
  1. In the toolbar before the table, click Filter Filter icon.
  2. Click Reset Filters. This action removes the filter or search criteria and updates the table to display all alerts.
  3. Click Filter Filter icon to close the filter dialog box.
