Secure connection failed

When using Firefox 89.02 on a Mac operating system, launching the Dashboard Application Services Hub UI fails in a hybrid deployment.

Problem

When your hybrid deployment is installed, a secure connection to Dashboard Application Services Hub fails with the following error code and information:

SEC_ERROR_REUSED_ISSUER_AND_SERIAL
You are attempting to import a cert with the same issuer/serial as an existing cert, but that is not the same cert.

Cause

The current version of Netcool® Operations Insight®, 1.6.8, is compatible with several browsers. For more information, see the Web Browsers section on the Supported Software tab in the 1.6.8 report: SPCR for version 1.6.8 However, Firefox 89.02 is not supported on a Mac operating system.

Resolution

Delete the old certificate, as described here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Certificate-contains-the-same-serial-number-as-another-certificate#firefox:mac:fx89 If that workaround fails, try another browser.
