Adding a comment to policies

You can add a comment to Temporal Grouping and Temporal Pattern policies if automatic updates to the policies are disabled.

Before you begin

Comments cannot be added to policies that have automatic updates enabled. You must first disable automatic updates before you can add a comment to a policy. For more information, see Disabling automatic updates.


  1. In the Navigation icon main navigation menu, select Automations icon Automations and click Policies.
  2. In the table row for the policy that you want to add a comment to, move your mouse over the Comment field and click Add comment Add comment.
  3. Enter your comment for the policy and then click Tick mark Update.
    The comment is saved together with the policy.
