Upgrading a geo-redundant deployment on Red Hat OpenShift

Follow these instructions to upgrade a geo-redundant deployment of IBM® Netcool® Operations Insight® on OpenShift®.

Note: The upgrade instructions are for a full cloud deployment only. Currently, geo-redundancy is not supported for a hybrid deployment.

Upgrade the primary system first and let all the pods come up. Then, proceed to upgrade the backup system. For more information, see Upgrading and rolling back on Red Hat OpenShift.

Set the helmValuesNOI.ea-noi-layer.noieagateway.useFastTrack parameter to true.
